Unbiased and Uniform microRNA (miRNA) Labeling using Label IT® Reagents

Sequence Independent Labeling of miRNA

For accurate and complete miRNA microarray expression profiling, the miRNA labeling method must label all the miRNA species present in a sample independent of their sequence. The Label IT Reagents do not exhibit any base labeling preferences and are capable of labeling known mammalian miRNAs that lack one of the four bases (Figure 1). The Label IT miRNA Labeling Kits are the best choice for non-biased and uniform labeling of miRNA samples from any organism.

Synthetic RNAs corresponding to four naturally occurring miRNA sequences, each lacking one of the four nucleotides, were labeled using the Label IT miRNA Labeling Kit.
