TransIT®-EE Delivery Solution and Starter Kit
An "Enhanced Expression" in vivo delivery solution that delivers DNA to the livers of laboratory mice using hydrodynamic tail vein injection

Starter Kit Components:
Each starter kit contains the TransIT-EE Hydrodynamic Delivery Solution, 10 syringes, needles and alcohol swabs; and a mouse restraint device designed specifically for tail vein injections. The TransIT-EE Hydrodynamic Delivery Solution is also sold separately as indicated above.

TransIT-QR or TransIT-EE Hydrodynamic Delivery Solutions were used to deliver 10 µg of pCI-Luc (CMV promoter-driven luciferase expression vector) to mice using the hydrodynamic tail vein injection procedure. Twenty-four hours post-injection the organs were harvested and assayed for luciferase activity.
NOTE: Following gene delivery via a tail vein injection, the highest level of transgene expression is found in the liver, with reduced levels of expression found in the spleen, lung, heart and kidneys. |
