  • Naked Nucleic Acid Delivery - Achieve increased levels of gene expression than compared to TransIT-QR Delivery Solution, TransIT- In Vivo Gene Delivery System, polylysine and PEI methods.
  • Versatile Platform - Suitable for DNA delivery using methods including hydrodynamic tail vein injection to the mouse strain of your choice.

Starter Kit Components:
Each starter kit contains the TransIT-EE Delivery Solution, 10 syringes, needles and alcohol swabs; and a mouse restraint device designed specifically for tail vein injections. The TransIT-EE Delivery Solution is also sold separately as indicated above.

Data

Figure 1
Figure 1. TransIT-EE Solution Leads to Enhanced Luciferase Expression in the Liver. TransIT-QR or TransIT-EE Delivery Solutions were used to deliver 10 µg of a luciferase expression vector to mice using the hydrodynamic delivery tail vein injection procedure. Twenty-four hours post-injection the livers were harvested and assayed for luciferase activity.
Figure 2
Figure 2. TransIT-EE Solution Leads to Enhanced Lucifrease Expression in a Variety of Organs. TransIT-QR or TransIT-EE Delivery Solutions were used to deliver 10 µg of pCI-Luc (CMV promoter-driven luciferase expression vector) to mice using the hydrodynamic tail vein injection procedure. Twenty-four hours post-injection the organs were harvested and assayed for luciferase activity.

NOTE: Following gene delivery via a tail vein injection, the highest level of transgene expression is found in the liver, with reduced levels of expression found in the spleen, lung, heart and kidneys.
