Figure 1
Figure 1. Beta-Galactosidase Expression in Mouse Liver is Achieved Using the TransIT In Vivo Gene Delivery System. A B-Gal expression vector was complexed with the TransIT In Vivo Polymer Solution and delivered to mice using the hydrodynamic tail vein injection. Twenty-four hours post-injection, liver sections were stained using the Beta-Gal Staining Kit.

NOTE: Following gene delivery via a tail vein injection, the highest level of transgene expression is found in the liver, with reduced levels of expression found in the spleen, lung, heart and kidneys.
Figure 2
Figure 2. The TransIT In Vivo Gene Delivery System Leads to Luciferase Expression in a Variety of Organs. A luciferase expression vector was complexed with TransIT In Vivo Polymer and delivered to mice using the hydrodynamic tail vein injection. Luciferase expression was measured twenty-four hours after injection.
Figure 3
Figure 3. Quantitative Comparison of Luciferase Reporter Activity in Mouse Liver Following In Vivo Gene Delivery. A luciferase expression vector was complexed with either the TransIT In Vivo Polymer Solution or the indicated agent and delivered to mice via tail-vein injection. Luciferase expression was quantified by assaying the total amount of luciferase produced in mouse liver.
