  • Two Choices of DNA Markers—Two different broad range markers are available with Biotin, DNP, Digoxin, or Fluorescein labels.
  • Easy to Detect—Visualize in the eithidium bromide stained agarose gel and after detection in a Southern blot application.
  • Ready-to-use—Supplied at 0.25 µg/µl working solution.
  • Application Specific—Designed for use in non-radioactive Southern blot applications.

Figure 1 Figure 1. Detection of the Labeled 1 kb DNA Ladder
This DNA ladder contains 14 discrete fragments. The 3,000 bp band is more intense to serve as a reference. Shown here are the results of a representative lane of the DNA ladders. The left panel illustrates the resolved DNA fragments (0.5 µg or 2 µl) in the ethidium bromide-stained 1% agarose gel. The right panel illustrates the chemiluminescent signal (less than 15 minutes exposure) of the same ladder lane captured on X-ray film following blotting to a membrane (gel pretreatments included: apurination (acid treatment), fragmentation (base treatment) and neutralization) and detection using specific alkaline phosphatase-conjugated (anti-epitope) antibodies.
Figure 2 Figure 2. Detection of the Labeled Lambda DNA/EcoRI + HindIII Markers.
This marker yields 11 discrete fragments. Shown here are the results of a representative lane of the DNA markers.
