Superior Transfection Performance
Better Luciferase Expression In Side-by-Side Transfections
The indicated cell lines were transfected in duplicate with 1.5 µg of a luciferase expression vector per well of a 12-well plate using either TransIT®-LT1 (3 µl) or PolyFect (HEK 293 – 15 µl, COS-7 – 9 µl, NIH 3T3 – 9 µl) Reagents. Cells were harvested 24 hours post-transfection and assayed for luciferase activity. Four independent experiments were performed, and luciferase activities were normalized to the TransIT®-LT1 results and averaged.

Superior Transfection Efficiency Using an EGFP Reporter
The indicated cell lines were transfected in duplicate with 1.5 µg of an EGFP expression vector per well of a 12-well plate using either TransIT®-LT1 (3 µl) or PolyFect (HEK 293 – 15 µl, COS-7 – 9 µl, NIH 3T3 – 9 µl) Reagents. Cells were harvested 24 hours post-transfection and the percentage of EGFP expressing cells was determined by flow cytometry. Four independent experiments were performed, and the percent EGFP positive cells were normalized to the TransIT®-LT1 results and averaged.
