Mirus Bio Appoints Scott Rose as VP Finance & Administration
MADISON, WI, USA — Mirus Bio Corporation today announced the appointment of Scott A. Rose as Vice President Finance & Administration. Mr. Rose replaces Joseph Williams, who retired and plans to relocate his family to the West Coast.
Russell Smestad, Mirus Bio’s President commented: "The strategic insights and experience that Scott brings to Mirus from his prior financial and executive management roles will be valuable in charting Mirus’ continued growth. Combined with his hands-on expertise in information systems and operations, Scott is uniquely qualified to enhance the operational performance of our company as well."
Mr. Rose brings to Mirus more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and high technology companies. His diversified career includes leadership roles as the CEO and CFO of Wisconsin Porcelain Company, Inc., a venture capital backed manufacturer of industrial ceramics; accounting and information system management roles with Heurikon Corporation, a manufacturer of single board computers; and financial staff roles at Dungarvin, Inc., Snap-On Tools Corporation and several other organizations. Mr. Rose is a Certified Public Accountant certified in Production and Inventory Management, and earned his MBA degree with a specialization in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
