Position Purpose

Work on projects related to development of novel technology for gene therapy application based on utilization of dynamic polyconjugates™ and/or nucleic acid delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

Organic synthesis of small molecules: glycosides, peptides, reagents for polymer modifications.
Sample purification and identification using HPLC, FPLC, flash chromatography, MS and NMR.
Work on peptide synthesizer.
Maintain detailed laboratory notebook.
Maintain and stock laboratory supplies as required.
Participate and present data at group meetings.

Skill Sets

Essential Skills:

Experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
At least 1 year experience in a laboratory setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification Requirements

BS (1+ year of experience) or MS in organic chemistry.

Physical Demands: Most of workday is spent working at a laboratory bench.
